At Onsen we believe that skin is naturally intelligent and that like any part of our divine body, it is blessed with all it needs to restore, protect and renew itself to a vibrant, healthy and radiant glow.

Onsen’s commitment is to create fully active products and systems that powerfully interact with your skin to remove any barriers to self renewal and facilitate optimal conditions for sustained regeneration. To fulfill on this commitment we constantly focus our efforts on state of the art innovation; globally researching what’s next for skin care and ways we can utilize technology to elevate the effectiveness and impact of natural ingredients and processes.

   Origins

Our philosophy and commitment originate from a collective desire to provide an opportunity for Onsen users to develop and to experience a holistic, joyous and harmonious relationship with a part of their body that is most exposed to environmental stressors and at the same time, most visible to the world.
Our name celebrates the Japanese Hot Springs known as Onsen - the origins of the active water we use in all our products and the potent and pure, area specific minerals found in each of them.

  Technology

Onsen’s Powder and Water TechnologiesTM are a result of research that was inspired by the magnificent nature and function of the micro water molecules found in the Onsen Hot Springs of Japan. Onsen’s Powder TechnologyTM is our pride and joy and the product that generates most of the buzz among Onsen users. This very fine powder or nutritional booster consists of high concentration of skin specific nutrients; it emulsifies on contact with skin then gets activated to deliver vitamin and mineral enhanced bio-marine nutritional support formula deep beyond the skin’s surface. It also contains Thalassine, a natural ingredient commonly known as ‘Nature’s alternative to Botox’.

Onsen’s Water TechnologyTM is also one of a kind. All the products in the series contain 100% active solutions. In other words, most skin care products contain 70 to 80 percent water, Onsen systems on the other hand, use proprietary technology to transform ordinary water into a completely active ingredient that’s infused with skin specific nutrients. The active water is so named because through the activation process, the water molecule structures are reduced and then able to penetrate deeper into skin layers to deliver the active ingredients they carry.

  Systems

The core of our technology is found in each and every product , so every Onsen product is FULLY ACTIVE. At the same time, and driven by our commitment; we also designed all the products in each system to work in harmony and meet the challenge each was intended to resolve. The best way to fully experience the marvel of the Onsen technology and maximize results is to use the systems for at least thirty days. We made it very easy to follow in function and remember: a little bit of a fully active product goes a very long way.

   Experience

The systems and individual products are designed to deliver a whole body experience. The approach is to support skin’s divine and natural process of renewal and regeneration. It starts with a core belief that skin is capable of regaining its natural vibrancy once given the support it needs through active skin care systems and lifestyle adjustments. Onsen users are encouraged to take the time, however short and focus their intention on the desired outcome as they follow each regimen. For example, when applying masks, we invite the user to take the time to relax and breath, and to visualize results; these simple steps alter the attitude towards skin and its care and as mind over matter goes, triggers positive physical results in the process. Many more ways to express this approach and practice will become available to Onsen members as we continue to develop our range of services to Onsen fans.
